Challenging Disability Barriers: Encountering and overcoming limitations

Intro
Are you ready to rethink what inclusion means? This ENLIGHT project brings students from across
Europe together to explore how physical, social, and institutional barriers shape the experiences of
people with disability or chronic disease. Through interactive online sessions and a vibrant on-site
week in Göttingen, you’ll collaborate in international, interdisciplinary teams to design real social
projects that make a difference in accessibility. This is your chance to develop critical thinking and
contribute to meaningful change!

For more information, see the ENLIGHT call.

Is this course right for me?

  • The course is open to students from all faculties, disciplines, and degree programs. Disabled
and nondisabled individuals are encouraged to participate. The diversity of ability and
discipline enriches the projects and allows participants to inspect a range of perspectives.
  • Along with 6 credits, students will develop their understanding of barriers, emotional
challenges, and accessibility issues regarding disability. The course develops critical thinking
skills through a social project with community partners, which will contribute to accessibility
