Call for three Incoming Teaching Mobilities in the Summer Semester 2027



The Department of Business Administration is pleased to announce a call for three incoming teaching mobilities within the Erasmus+ programme, as well as for our scholarship programmes with Nanjing University and Fudan University. The purpose of this call is to enhance our international collaborations, particularly in teaching. It will also provide our students with a valuable opportunity to participate in courses led by international lecturers and to network professionally on a teaching and research level. Please see below for details of the call.







  • Who can apply?









  • Course Requirements



    Courses can be offered as block courses on-site, or as hybrid courses with a virtual component and an on-site week (Monday-Friday) in Göttingen. The courses are open to both, international and local undergraduate students from our faculty. The workload must align to 3 or 6 ECTS.


    We suggest to offer courses with a focus on the following categories. However, individual suggestions in similar fields are encouraged.


    • Management: International Management, Human Resource Management, International Business

    • Accounting and Finance: Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Sustainability Reporting, Sustainability Accounting, Finance, Sustainability Finance, Taxation

    • Business Information Systems: Cyber-Security & Socio-Technical Resilience, E-Government and Public Sector Transformation, IS in Logistics or Energy, Industrial IoT and Distributed Ledger Technologies

    • Marketing: Ethics and Marketing, International Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Strategic Supply Chain Management, Sustainability Marketing


    As the summer semester runs from April to July 2027, mobility is expected to take place in May or June 2027.







  • Funding



    • Remuneration for teaching: €120/teaching hour (SWS); the remuneration for teaching will be paid in one lump sum towards the end of the mobility


    Additionally, please check the following two options:


    • Erasmus+ STA funding: Lecturers from our Erasmus+ partners or ENLIGHT should check the guidelines on outgoing teaching mobility from their home university for information on funding of travel costs and daily allowances

    • Funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD): Lecturers from Nanjing University and Fudan University can receive up to €2,000 for a minimum mobility of 23 days. This funding is also paid in one lump sum towards the end of the mobility period and can be used individually, for example for travel and accommodation. The financial support is available within the scholarship programme with Nanjing University, Business School and Fudan University, School of Economics. The programme is sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service.








  • Application Process



    If you are interested in joining us for a teaching mobility, please send

    • a course proposal

    • your CV, including teaching experience and most important publications

    • a preferred time slot for your mobility

    The call for applications is issued annually. The application deadline for the current call is 31 October 2026. If the three places for the summer term remain unfilled, there are mobility opportunities available in the following winter term.


    All proposals will be evaluated at faculty level and suitable candidates will be assigned to one of our professors in a similar research and teaching field. We can offer three places for the summer semester 2027.








  • Support Services



    For incoming lecturers from Erasmus+ or ENLIGHT partners, our colleagues from the International Office will coordinate the official registration process and can also offer support with questions regarding visas (if required), accommodation, etc. You can find a short welcome guide for international incoming lecturers online.
