Get [IN]spired – New Ideas for Your Teaching 2026

On Tuesday, 6 October 2026, our Get [IN]spired inspiration day for teaching will once again take place on the fourth floor of the Verfügungsgebäude.

Through workshops, presentations and interactive formats, you will gain new ideas and practical inspiration for your digital and face-to-face teaching practice.

Key topics include the reflective use of Artificial Intelligence in higher education, AI-resistant assessment tasks, engaging digital teaching, academic work with AI, as well as a variety of tools for designing teaching and learning processes.

Get [IN]spired also offers the opportunity to try out new approaches directly and to exchange ideas and experiences with other lecturers, the participating teams and speakers.

Online Teaching Dialogue (OLD)

The Online Teaching Dialogue (OLD) regularly provides practical ideas and concrete tips on teaching and learning in online settings. The next session on 13 October 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. will focus on “Hands-on RAG: Customising an AI chatbot with your own materials”.

New training opportunities

In September, several exciting events on digital teaching, AI and innovative teaching formats will take place again.

On 22 September 2026, the Twillo workshop “AI and OER in Practice: Enhancing OER in Diverse and Legally Compliant Ways with AI” will take place. The workshop will demonstrate how artificial intelligence can support the creation and further development of open educational resources.
